Our Story
Who We Are
GCIF is a smart investment management firm founded by four students with highly motivated from the Institut Teknologi Bandung. This firm is conducted to partly fulfill the requirements for the Capital Market course.
Our name, GCIF is generated from Ganesha Capital Investment Club. GCIF is a word that originates from the Ganesha student that eager to learn about comprehensive knowledge in the field of the stock market, investing, trading, and mentoring evaluation. We move to gain more hands-on experience to become better investors, and most importantly, we have fun!
Lord Ganesha or often also called Ganapati or Winayaka is a god who embodies a mixture of elephant and human animals. As is known that Ganesha is a god who has the head of an elephant and a human body. Lord Ganesha has the titles as the god of intelligence and knowledge, the god of repellent or disaster, and the god of wisdom.

Risk & Return Analysis for ARTO, JPFA, and MAPI using Mean Variance Frontier Method
Our Finance & Property sector analyst, Muhammad Rizky Fakhri, made an analysis of Risk and Return using a Mean Variance Frontier method for 3 companies. These companies are PT Bank Jago Tbk (AGRO) from Finance sector, PT Citra Tbk (CTRA.JK) from Property Sector and PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA.JK) from the Finance sector. This analysis use daily return based on adjusted closing price in 1 year time frame from 15 September 2020 to 15 September 2021.
